Popis
Departing from one-way, linear cinema played on a single rectangular screen, a Walkie is a virtual environment where visitors move through multi-channel video in a 3D sound space. This architectural dimensionality creates a kind of experience that lets the world reveal itself and invites discovery on the part of visitors.
Version 2.0 has been rewritten to enable stereoscopic viewing via Cardboard and other VR headsets. It also features a new lobby for navigating an ever-growing library of 3D Walkies from notable media artists, including Rachel Strickland, Ai Wei Wei, Deborah Hay and the Blue Lapis Light Aerial Dance Company.
If you want to add your own Walkie, please contact us for production specifications. We'd be glad to host your art and/or multi-camera sports adventures. Stay tuned for future productions.
