This update brings a fully redesigned offline experience so you can map, plan, and explore with total confidence — even without cell service.

All-New Offline Functionality: Your maps, routes, folders, and other content now sync to your device automatically and are stored in a local database. This means you can:
- View and explore your maps in full detail offline
- Create new routes and edit existing ones
- Toggle layers on and off
- Make changes anywhere — everything syncs once you’re back online

Smarter Offline Map Downloads: Choose a region and the layers you want, and Backtrack will package everything for offline use. Your downloads now apply across all your map content, making it easier than ever to prep for a trip.

You can now do all of this completely offline:
- View 3D terrain
- Toggle map layers
- View elevation profiles (even for new routes)
- Create and update routes

This is our biggest step yet toward making Backtrack the most reliable mapping tool in the backcountry. Enjoy the new offline experience!
