Description
If you are lost or you have lost the North, open the compass and find the direction. Very useful application to help you with sailing, hiking or for all those travelers, sailors, adventurers, mountaineers, campers and hikers who want to know the location and orientation of magnetic north anywhere in the planet and to know where the North, South, East and West is.
• Find the location and north orientation.
• You can press the map option and indicate which direction a place is.
• You can know the orientation and where the most relevant cities are found by clicking on the cities drop-down list.
A compass is an instrument used for navigation and orientation that shows direction relative to the geographic cardinal directions (or points). Usually, a diagram called a compass rose shows the directions north, south, east, and west on the compass face as abbreviated initials. When the compass is used, the rose can be aligned with the corresponding geographic directions; for example, the "N" mark on the rose really points northward. Compasses often display markings for angles in degrees in addition to (or sometimes instead of) the rose.
