Aplicația StopFals.md face parte din campania împotriva informației false și tendențioase STOP FALS!, desfășurată de Asociația Presei Independente (API). Acest App pune la dispoziția utilizatorului un mecanism de alertă, care trimite notificări privind un nou fals apărut în presă, cât și dezmințirea acestuia. La nivel vizual, aplicația folosește diverse instrumente (GIF-uri, MEME-uri, caricaturi) care combină umorul cu dezmințirea informațiilor false, astfel oferind un format dinamic și intuitiv utilizatorului. Nu în ultimul rând, un nou feature al aplicației este vizualul Pinocchio, cunoscut personaj din poveste, care „însoțește” toate știrile false și „măsoară”, prin lungimea nasului, gravitatea falsului.

- Noua versiune a aplicației este bilingvă, permițându-le utilizatorilor să navigheze articole atât în limba română, cât și în limba rusă. De asemenea, aplicația folosește mult mai mult elemente grafice pentru a sublinia falsurile, cum ar fi caricaturi, GIF-uri, MEME-uri. Nu în ultimul rând, în aplicație a fost adăugat un alt element grafic inovativ: gravitatea unui fals este „măsurată” prin lungimea nasului lui Pinocchio, cunoscut personaj din povestea scriitorului italian Carlo Collodi, căruia îi creștea nasul când spunea o minciună.
