files, then securely release them to trusted recipients after a period of inactivity.
What it does
- Secure “message boxes” for your wishes, instructions, passwords, debts, and documents.
- Time-locked delivery: set an inactivity window; if you don’t check in, your boxes release.
- Recipient portal: loved ones get a clean, guided view of everything they need.
- Attach files: upload photos, PDFs, and more; recipients can view or download.
- One-tap PDF export: generate a polished summary of a box to share or archive.
- “I’m alive” check-in: send heartbeats to keep boxes locked until you’re ready.
- Contact book: manage who receives what, with multiple recipients per box.
- Works offline-friendly: view and organize even with spotty connectivity; sends when back online.
How it works
1. Create a box for a person or scenario (estate plan, account list, instructions).
2. Add text notes, login credentials, debts/obligations, and file attachments.
3. Set the inactivity timer that should trigger release.
4. Invite recipients—only they can access their assigned boxes after release.
5. Periodically check in with “I’m alive” to keep things locked; if you stop, PostMortem delivers.
