Notes, emails, chats, or voice recordings often contain actionable tasks. TaskMaker automatically detects your to-dos from text and audio — and (new) from images — and creates them directly in Apple Reminders.
How TaskMaker works
TaskMaker uses artificial intelligence to extract structured tasks from text, audio recordings, and images — including due dates, appointments, and notes. Before saving, you can review and adjust every task.
Simply select a file, record audio, or analyze an image — then create the detected tasks directly in Apple Reminders.
New in version 1.2: Image analysis
Create tasks from photos, screenshots, and scans
Local OCR (Apple Vision) on-device as the first step
If no useful text is detected locally: optional (with consent) upload to OpenAI for OCR or scene-based task suggestions (e.g., “messy desk” → “clean desk”)
Before upload, images are downscaled to a maximum edge length of 2048 px (aspect ratio preserved)
iOS: take photos directly in the app (photo is saved to Photos)
