Er beinhaltet die 230 häufigsten Wildblumenarten der Schweiz, Österreichs und der Alpenregion Deutschlands. Mit über 800 Naturfotos, GPS Lokalisierung, Listenfunktion und Quiz. Die App bietet eine intuitive Bedienbarkeit, die sich bewährt hat. SUNBIRD-Apps bieten eine übersichtliche und einfache Menueführung sowie hochqualitative Fotos für eine einfache und schnelle Identifikation.
Die Auswahl der Arten erfolgte nicht zufällig, sondern beschreibt die 230 tatsächlich am häufigsten vorkommenden Alpenblumen der Region.
Zusätzlich zur Fotoerkennung liegt dieser Blumen-App ein von promovierten Biologen entwickeltes Bestimmungsschema zugrunde, welches durch die Beantwortung von 10 Fragen tatsächlich zur gewünschten Pflanze und der Auswahl ähnlicher Arten führt.
Das Besondere: Um eine Wildblume präzise zu bestimmen, ist keinerlei Vorwissen oder botanisches Fachwissen vonnöten!
Ganz maßgeblich helfen hierbei auch die sehr guten Bilder, die alle Blumen in ihrer natürlichen Umgebung abgelichtet zeigen. Dabei wurde aus tausenden Bildern ausgewählt, um eine möglichst sichere Bestimmung der Arten zu ermöglichen. Denn die sorgfältige Auswahl der Bilder ist für die Bestimmung essenziell.
