Descrizione
Denne App er udviklet af patienter med lavt stofskifte, og er ment som en hjælp til selvhjælp til de mennesker, som ikke opnår en tilfredsstillende bedring af deres symptomer trods behandling med stofskiftemedicin.
App’en er også til dem, som gerne vil vide mere om stofskiftet og hvad man evt. selv kan gøre, for at afhjælpe symptomer. Den er udviklet som en kombination til hjemmesiden stofskiftesupport.dk., som du kan gå ind og se uddybende beskrivelser på det, der er skrevet i App’en.
Der er også en facebookgruppe, der hedder stofskiftesupport, som du kan melde dig ind i.
Højt stofskifte vil blive nævnt ganske kort, men ellers henvises til hjemmesiden stofskiftesupport.dk
Vi er ikke læger, men arbejder sammen i netværk i Danmark og andre lande. Alt hvad der kommer af ny forskning deler vi med hinanden. Det kommer bl.a fra USA men også fra fx England, Norge, Sverige, Mexico m.fl. Vi deler også erfaringer mht. vores problematikker omkring sygdommen. I App'en vil der også stå, at de fleste oplever en bedring, hvis de gør sådan og sådan. Mange oplever en bedring, hvis de gør sådan og sådan. Læger uddannes meget lidt i stofskiftet gennem deres studie. Der sker meget på stofskifteområdet i disse år. Nogle læger vælger at tage på kursus for at opdatere sig i sygdommen og dens problematikker. Endokrinologer er uddannet i hormonsygdomme. Mange af dem er specialister i fx diabetes eller knogleskørhed. Dvs., det er dér, de lægger deres kræfter og interesse. Der er ikke mange endokrinologer, der er specialister i stofskiftesygdomme i Danmark.
Mange går skuffet fra en endokrinolog, som ikke er specialiceret i stofskiftet. Kommer de til en Endokrinolog med speciale i stofskiftet, er det ikke sikkert, at han er opdateret i den sidste nye viden eller nyeste forskning.
Flere og flere får dog en god hjælp af de praktiserende læger og privatlæger.
Med App'en får du også et program som kan scanne stregkoder. En ting som kan være nyttig, f.eks. på medicin-indpakninger.
