Fakes gehen viral, weil sie sich perfekt an die Algorithmen anpassen können - sie müssen schließlich nicht darauf achten, korrekt zu sein. Faktenchecks und Gegennarrative können da nicht mithalten. Volksverpetzer versucht seit Jahren mit Emotionen, Unterhaltung, Clickbait und reißerischen Titeln, den Algorithmus auszutricksen, um auch Faktenchecks Reichweite zu geben. Doch mit dieser App können wir den Plattformen etwas Macht nehmen, zu bestimmen, was wir zu sehen bekommen. Du musst nicht mehr hoffen, dass du, obwohl du uns auf Twitter, Instagram, Facebook oder sonst wo folgst, einer der wenigen bist, denen auch unsere Beiträge angezeigt werden.
Und durch deinen Beitrag beim Teilen der Inhalte, Weitererzählen der Fakten und Studien, können wir vielleicht wirklich für Aufklärung sorgen und zumindest etwas der Macht der milliardenschweren Plattformen (und ihrer Besitzer) und der großen Medienverlage entgegensetzen.
Und natürlich auch: Du verpasst keine unserer aufwändigen Recherchen - und kannst dir sogar Push-Benachrichtigungen für Faktenchecks einstellen. Damit die Fakten zur Gegenrede in Social Media so schnell wie möglich verbreitet werden können.
Uns ist auch Datenschutz und deine digitale Privatsphäre wichtig, deswegen wird in der App auf Google Analytics & Co verzichtet und können euch natürlich nicht tracken. Und sie wird in Zukunft auch OpenSource werden, weil wir - wie auch bei unseren Recherchen - nichts zu verbergen haben.
Wie schon erwähnt, ist die Volksverpetzer-App wie unser gesamter Content für alle komplett kostenlos. Die Fake News sind gratis, da darf die Aufklärung nicht hinter einer Paywall sein. Damit kannst du dich direkt im Kampf gegen Desinformation, Demokratiefeindlichkeit und Hass beteiligen - und kannst dich oder andere informieren - und auch einfach unterhalten, denn bei uns gibt es nicht nur trockene Analysen, sondern alles wie immer auch interessant gestaltet. Denn wenn Fake News eines sind, dann nicht langweilig. Die Faktenchecks dürfen da nicht hinterherhinken.
