L'app ItaliaNear consente di ricercare gli operatori in base alla loro tipologia e alla località in cui si trovano, ed è in grado di fornire, di volta in volta, la lista di quelli più vicini all'utente.
Per ogni operatore l'applicazione fornisce una scheda contenente tutti i suoi riferimenti (nome, ruolo, indirizzo, orari) e i comandi di: chiamata telefonica, e-mail, WhatsApp, sito web e Google Maps, tramite i quali l’utente può contattare direttamente l'operatore, verificarne la disponibilità, e visualizzare sulla mappa il percorso più breve per raggiungerlo.
ItaliaNear prevede due modalità di registrazione: come utente e come operatore. La registrazione come utente consente di consultare le schede di tutti gli operatori, mentre la registrazione come operatore consente agli esercenti e ai professionisti di creare e di tenere aggiornate le loro schede. La registrazione come operatore è ovviamente riservata a tutti coloro che vivono all’estero, lavorano a contatto con il pubblico, e parlano la nostra lingua.
