Alarmruf 112 ist ein Alarmierungs- und Benachrichtigungssystem welches zur Zusatzalarmierung von Einsatzorganisationen und Hilfsorganisationen, wie zum Beispiel Feuerwehr, Rotes Kreuz, Wasserwacht, Bergrettung oder Technisches Hilfswerk (THW) eingesetzt wird. Ebenfalls kommt Alarmruf 112 in Betrieben und öffentlichen Einrichtungen zum Einsatz wenn es darum geht Personen und Personengruppen rasch zu benachrichtigen.

Das Alarm-Portal Alarmruf 112 bietet für die Alarmierung und Benachrichtigung von Personen und Personengruppen mehrere Alarmwege. Neben der Push-Alarmierung via App können sämtliche Meldungen auch per SMS, Sprachanruf, E-Mail oder Fax versendet werden. Der gewünschte Alarmweg kann dabei für jeden Teilnehmer individuell eingestellt werden (Mehrfachauswahl möglich).
Ebenfalls ist in der Alarmruf 112 App eine Rückfallebene integriert. Kann die Push Alarmierung nicht zugestellt werden, z.B. bei Geräten welche nicht mit dem Internet verbunden sind, so kann das System automatisch eine Rückfallebene (z.B. SMS oder Sprachanruf) auslösen.
Durch die Verschlüsselung und den strengen Datenschutzrichtlinien wurde eine Ende zu Ende Verschlüsselung geschaffen. Ohne dass der Teilnehmer durch den jeweiligen Systemadministrator im Alarm-Portal hinterlegt und für die Alarmierung per App freigegeben wurde, kann die Alarmruf 112 App nicht aktiviert werden. Somit ist gewährleistet, dass Daten nicht von unberechtigten Personen eingesehen werden können.
