askDANTE – Time tracking for employees
Attractive design, interactive processes, and a greater focus on employees – the new askDANTE app (2025) is the ideal time tracking assistant for your SME workforce. Let your employees complete the most important time tracking tasks conveniently and stress-free on their mobile device – anytime, anywhere!
Record working hours on your mobile device
With askDANTE, employees can easily record their working hours in real time. After logging in, an attractive virtual terminal (VT) with a fresh look and feel awaits. Here, employees can easily record arrival and departure events (start of work, end of work, and breaks) with a simple touch of a button. The corresponding icons indicate in color (green and red) whether a clock-in or clock-out has just occurred and indicate any time entry for a time type — for example, "Office" or "Mobile Work."
Time account overview in the virtual terminal (VT)
The user-friendly virtual terminal (VT) provides a daily overview of your time account. This includes all clocked-in times and activities – from working hours to break times, from target hours to balances (overtime), from booked time types to the total hours worked per week so far. Optionally, you can also add a daily note (e.g., working from home – doing trades in the house): a pen and various event icons are provided for this purpose.
Practical calendars with list and month views
Whether it's a holiday, vacation, or documented sick leave, your employees can also use their smartphones with practical calendar functions, keeping them up to date with their own attendance and absences. This includes personal absences (current and past) as well as requested and approved vacation days. Various views (list and monthly views) and colors provide additional orientation in this area.
Individual settings (Dark and Light Mode)
The askDANTE time tracking app also offers customizable display and language settings. Let your employees choose their own language and decide whether they prefer to use the app in light or dark mode.
Legally compliant at all times
With askDANTE, HR managers can implement the Germany-wide time tracking requirement for companies legally and efficiently – and stay on the safe side when it comes to compliance with working time regulations. Together with the mobile time tracking app, askDANTE offers customers a product landscape that is also GDPR-compliant at all times.
