Blind Explorer es un sistema de guiado sensorial que integra sonidos binaurales (sonidos 3D) y tecnologías avanzadas de navegación por satélite, permitiendo a cualquier persona desplazarse de forma autónoma y segura por caminos desconocidos y sin necesidad de cobertura móvil en entornos al aire libre. Además, es especialmente accesible para personas invidentes o con discapacidad visual
Blind Explorer es una aplicación con diseño para todos (4All), intuitiva y funcional.
El uso de sonidos 3D como estímulos acústicos aporta a la solución una forma de guiado que permite al usuario navegar hacia el rumbo, destino, o por el camino correcto sin tener que visualizar el móvil y sin apartar la vista del terreno (ojos-manos-mente libres).
Funcionalidades de la aplicación:
Rutas: Navegación por rutas o recorridos pregrabados con alta precisión disponibles en la aplicación.
Explora: Crear tus propias rutas con la función explora y mediante unos sencillos pasos la aplicación irá grabando la posición en tiempo real.
Mapa: Información de la ruta seleccionada identificándola en el mapa y sus puntos de interés, señalizaciones o advertencias de peligro.
Brújula: Permite el guiado hacia un rumbo previamente marcado.
Solicitar ayuda: Permite al usuario enviar un SMS de ayuda con la información de la última localización desde un botón de la pantalla principal.
Accesorios compatibles:
Los cascos de transmisión ósea permiten al usuario recibir los estímulos acústicos 3D durante la navegación manteniendo libre el canal auditivo y permitiendo disfrutar más de la experiencia de navegar (ojos, manos y mente libres).
El uso de un GPS externo conectado con Bluetooth permitirá mejorar la precisión, proporcionando un guiado más seguro (recomendado para personas con discapacidad visual grave).
