Packed with technology hidden by design, Instinct fits the décor of every room. Instinct installs just like a standard switch, and includes a screwless faceplate for a seamless, modern finish.
Instinct Switch App Features:
The app is designed to walk you through the setup of Instinct once physical installation is complete. This brief process includes:
- Connecting Instinct to your home Wi-Fi® network
- Linking Instinct to your Amazon account*
After Instinct setup is complete, the Instinct Switch app is no longer required. The Amazon Alexa app serves as the primary app to manage and control Instinct. Create smart home automations, discover and enable Alexa skills, and so much more.

Introducing the ability to choose from multiple Alexa wake-word and response languages for your Instinct. With the Instinct app, choose the language you would like to interact with your Instinct with from among these Amazon-approved languages: U.S. English, Canadian English, French Canadian, and Mexican Spanish.
Use the Instinct app to activate Motion Detection and fine tune the sensitivity. Choose between five sensitivity levels from low to high. Create an Instinct motion sensor triggered routine with the Alexa app and be notified when Instinct detects motion.
Motion Detection combines convenience and security. Have your lights turn on when you walk into the room, and off when you leave. Have your Instinct alert you if there’s motion detected when you’re not home.
Motion detection feature tutorials can be found under the “Using Your Instinct - Automation” section on the Instinct app’s main screen.
