Then additionally install the Protonet Files app to have easy mobile access to your data and upload new files directly from smartphone and share these with others.
FEATURES
File Access
With the Files app you gain access to the files that are stored in the Protonet solution by using your smartphone or tablet. You can swiftly download anywhere with the latest versions of files, for example, reports or presentation templates.
File Upload
Upload the latest photos, videos or other files while on the road to keep your friends, family and colleagues up to date. This allows the user to have access to the most recent figures.
Mobile Independence
The Files app allows you to store files that have been created or stored on smartphone or tablet, directly on the Protonet solution and independent of the cloud services from Apple or Google.
AND YOUR DATA?
As with the communication on the Protonet server, the file transfer by app has a strong encryption via SSL.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Firstly, in order to make use of the Protonet Messenger you need a Protonet server. Either you own one or were invited onto one as a user or guest.
The rest is very simple:
1. Download and install the app
2. In the app enter the name of your Protonet server eg. myserver.protonet.info
3. Enter the same login data that you use when you login to your Protonet server.
4. Navigate to the folder of your choice and upload or download files.
