Rustenburg Water Alerts delivers reliable, ward-based notifications from the municipality’s water operations team. See what’s happening today, this week, and near you: planned maintenance, emergency bursts, tanker dispatch times, and when supply is restored.
What you can do
• Receive ward-specific alerts — outages, restorations, maintenance, emergency advisories, and general announcements.
• Follow “Today” and “This Week” feeds — a simple, chronological view of everything affecting your area.
• Check “Near Me” — view nearby incidents and updates on a map.
• Read official news — quick statements and longer updates from Rustenburg Water.
• Use Live Chat — report leaks/bursts with a photo and location, or ask for help directly.
• Save your location — add your address or use your current location; the app auto-assigns your ward and keeps your alerts relevant.
• Clear labels & colours — Emergency, Maintenance/Planned, Restored/Closed, Announcements, and Tanker updates are easy to spot.

Where updates come from
All information is supplied by Rustenburg Local Municipality Water Operations, including control-room schedules, field team reports, and live reservoir/pressure telemetry. Times are best estimates and may change with on-site conditions.
Getting started
Install the app and allow notifications.
Open My Profile and set your address or tap Set current location.
You’re done - alerts will match your ward automatically.
Use Live Chat to report issues (include street, nearest corner, landmark, and a photo if possible).

Your feedback helps improve response times and communication. Use Live Chat or the in-app links to suggest features or report problems.
