Beskrivelse
On the same local network, open the local web console from a phone or iPad browser to work with a chosen window: screenshots, OCR window text recognition, remote text input, Return, shortcuts, and quick replies.
CodeLink also supports remote access through Telegram Bot. It does not require a cloud service or large model, and it does not create AI token costs.
Even when you are away from your desk, you can keep checking status, add input, or send commands.
What you can do
• List visible windows and focus a specific window
• Run screenshots, OCR text recognition, text input, quick replies, Return, and shortcut actions for the target window
• Access the Mac's local HTTP service from a browser on the LAN, with custom port and passcode support
• Switch windows and check status
• Optionally enable Telegram commands: /status, /windows, /focus, /ocr, /shot, /send, /type, /runs, and more
• More features require CodeLink Helper, available as a free download from the official website
Permissions
Screen Recording is required for window screenshots and OCR text recognition.
Enhanced actions such as window focus, typing, shortcuts, and clicks require CodeLink Helper. The helper requires Accessibility permission in System Settings. The Mac App Store app does not download executable code inside the app.
Safety
Use only on devices you own or are authorized to access.
Keep the HTTP service on a trusted LAN.
Protect your Telegram Bot token and avoid sharing it.
Notes
CodeLink is different from traditional VNC or TeamViewer.
It provides a lighter approach: viewing and operating only the window you choose.
It sits between local automation tools and remote desktop apps, useful when you do not need to take over the whole computer.
It works especially well with AI agent tools such as Cursor, Codex, and Claude Code. When you want a break from sitting at your desk, use CodeLink to check task progress and send follow-up instructions anytime.
