Hex Lens
Novinka  Inspect and edit any binary file with precision. HexLens is a hex editor built for developers, security researchers, and anyone who works with raw data at the byte level.

Open files of any size instantly. HexLens uses memory-mapped I/O and a piece table architecture to handle multi-gigabyte files without loading them entirely into RAM. Scroll through millions of rows with smooth, virtualized rendering that stays responsive no matter how large the file.

POWERFUL EDITING

Edit bytes directly in the hex grid with full undo and redo support. Every change is tracked as a lightweight delta operation, preserving the original file until you save. Delete, insert, or overwrite bytes with confidence knowing you can always step back.

SMART BYTE INSPECTOR

Select any bytes and instantly see their value interpreted as signed and unsigned integers (8, 16, 32, and 64-bit), plus 32-bit and 64-bit floating point numbers. Toggle between little-endian and big-endian byte order. Switch the display between binary, decimal, and hexadecimal. Edit values directly in the inspector to write back to the file.

THREE SEARCH MODES

Find what you need with flexible search options:

- Text search finds UTF-8 strings
- Integer search locates numeric values with configurable size, signedness, and endianness
- Hex pattern search matches raw byte sequences

Search runs in the background so the interface stays responsive. Navigate results with keyboard shortcuts.

NATIVE EXPERIENCE

Open files from Finder or drag them onto the window. Access recent files from the welcome screen. Use familiar keyboard shortcuts for navigation, selection, and editing. Right-click for context menu actions including copy, paste, zero bytes, and fill selection.

DESIGNED FOR READABILITY

The hex grid displays 16 bytes per row with offset, hex, and ASCII columns. Choose between light, dark, or system appearance with smooth animated transitions. The clean, focused interface keeps your attention on the data.
