FEWER TOKENS, MORE FINDINGS
In our published benchmark, two leading AI coding models investigated the same Instruments recording, which contained 20 planted performance issues. With RocketTrace they used about 6x fewer tokens, finished about 2x sooner (including RocketTrace's import and analysis time), and found 7 to 8 more of the 20 issues than with raw Instruments exports. Record a supported macOS app from a recent Xcode build, or import a compatible Instruments .trace bundle recorded for a macOS, iOS, or iPadOS app.
FOCUS ON ACTIONABLE EVIDENCE
RocketTrace analyzes Time Profiler, hangs, animation hitches, Swift Concurrency, and SwiftUI data. Findings include measured duration, frequency, execution context, and representative app-code frames where available.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Trace parsing and analysis happen locally on your Mac using your selected Xcode installation. Trace files, symbols, source paths, app names, and investigation prompts are not uploaded or included in product analytics.

- • Saving a recording no longer looks stuck: the progress bar keeps moving, shows how long the save has taken and the trace size (with an up-to-date Recorder Companion), and Cancel stops the save instead of waiting for it.
• Analysis starts sooner after a recording, saving roughly 15–20 seconds on large traces.
• The agent CLI never hangs when RocketTrace is paused or starting, can reset a stuck recording, record on a chosen Simulator, and compare the newest results of two labels.
• Simulator recordings recover app symbols more often, and Simulator builds no longer pick a connected iPhone as the destination.
• Recording is more resilient: transient start failures are retried automatically, and failures explain what to try next, including a Repair option when the Recorder Companion does not respond.
