De plus, bien souvent, une fois le livret d'évaluation rempli en fin d'année scolaire, les enseignants se posent la question de l'utilité de cette pratique. Evaluer oui, mais pour qui ?, et pour quoi ?
Pour répondre à ces questions, et en prenant exemple sur les cahiers de brevets, ABC-Applications a développé « Brevets ».
Avec « Brevets », l'élève devient partie prenante de son évaluation. Il comprend ce qui est attendu de lui. Il mesure ses progrès tout au long de l'année, le chemin parcouru et celui qui lui reste à accomplir.
L'enfant pourra valider les items définis par l'enseignant, à des moments précis, au gré de ses réussites ou simplement faire des essais, à son rythme. Les traces de ses productions (photographies ou enregistrements audio) seront directement stockées, sans nécessiter l'intervention d'un tiers.
Côté enseignant: l'application a été pensée pour être utilisée facilement, sans connaissance approfondie du numérique et exploitable telle quelle.
Mais, elle est aussi entièrement modifiable, notamment au niveau du choix des sections, des compétences, des items et prend même en compte jusqu'à 10 exercices/tests par items.L'application pourra s'adapter aux besoins de publics variés ( école, cycle, classe unique, enseignement spécialisé etc...)
L'application permet l'impression d'un bilan, récupérant toutes les données de validation et toutes les photos prises par l'enfant.
Cette application résulte d'observations et de besoins d'enseignants actuellement sur le terrain.
