MathCapture is a equation editor designed for macOS.
It seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, providing powerful tools for creating, editing, and recognizing mathematical formulas efficiently.

Supports automatic numbering, formula referencing, and inline baseline alignment.
2. Multiple Editing Modes for Different Needs
Instant LaTeX Mode: Write LaTeX formulas with real-time rendering — no compilation delay.
Standard LaTeX Mode: Use professional LaTeX engines (XeLaTeX, PdfLaTeX, LuaLaTeX) with full package support, including tikz (graphics), mhchem (chemistry), and algorithm (pseudocode).
Visual Editing Mode: Edit formulas visually without LaTeX code. Supports exporting to LaTeX and MathML formats.
3. Built-in Recognition Engines
Formula Recognition: Convert math formula images into LaTeX code instantly. Works fully offline.
Symbol Recognition: Identify mathematical symbols quickly and accurately.
OCR Engine: Recognize English text for easy extraction and editing.
