# New
* Liquid Glass support! If you've updated your Mac to macOS 26 Tahoe, you are now presented with an option for using Apple's new Liquid Glass transparent UI, or you can opt to keep the classic look of Acorn.
Why the options? For pro users, we know you're going to want to keep distractions out and clarity in the UI paramount, so you're probably going to keep the glasstastic options off. But for the more casual users who love the new refractions and interface, you're going to love seeing the your canvas reflected back in the palettes.
* But what if you change your mind? Acorn has a new Appearance Settings tab, where you can turn on and off the Liquid Glass palettes. You even have the option to have your canvas display edge to edge, without the Liquid Glass palettes.
* New macOS 26 Tahoe friendly squircle icon.
# Other
* When using the Clone Tool, the on canvas brush preview is now drawn with a bit of transparency. We hope this helps with more accurate brushing.
* Acorn got a bit smarter about opening images without a file extension, by peeking into the file and making a more informed decision about what kind of image it is (I'm looking directly at you, DICOM X-ray images).
# Fixes
* Fixed an issue where Acorn could get stuck at a specific zoom level when using the Command+ or Command- shortcuts.
* Fixed an issue where using the clone tool when zoomed way in could make your cloned areas a little blurry.
* Fixed a problem where the eraser tool would use the alpha value of the current fill color, instead of only relying on the the Flow setting to control how much is erased.
* Cleaned up button spacing in the Settings window.
* Cleaned up some localizations.
* Other minor bug fixes.
