Colar Lite is a powerful image editor. It features gradients, textures and anti-aliasing for both text and brush strokes. It supports multiple layers, alpha channel editing and many Image effects. Colar Lite uses the XCF format as its native file format.

In the current version, Colar Lite supports 30 effects and adjustment methods: Gaussian Blur, Brightness and Contrast, Gamma, Hue Saturation and Value, White Point, Colour Ramp, Convert to CMYK, Convert to Greyscale, Invert, Posterize, Sepia, Threshold, Contrast Sharpen, Exposure, Median, Noise Reduction, Sharpen, Random Generator, CMYK, Halftone, Dot Screen, Hatched Screen, Line Screen, Colour Edges, Crystallise, Displacement Distortion, Edges, Glass Distortion, Gloom, Pixellate, Pointillise

■ Smooth Selection Manipulation

If you have a selection, you can append another selection to it, by add, subtract, intersect, or inverse intersect

You can scale and move selection freely by a mouse or the direction keys

■ Keyboard Shortcuts

In Colar Lite, many operations have a shortcut key. For example, you can select the Rectangular Select Tool by press 'M' key and then press 'C' key to change to the Crop Tool

■ LIMITATIONS

For Colar Lite is the free version of Colar, there are some limitations in Colar Lite: Only the image that not larger than 512 x 384 can be saved. And, a small watermark will appear on it's bottom right corner.
