Zenspire is a native macOS app, delivering a clean, fast, and responsive experience, even with large libraries. It seamlessly blends robust folder management with the power of a visual library. It feels right at home on your Mac.
Zenspire is local first with no signup, no cloud, and no ads. Your files always stay on your Mac, right in your selected library folder. Start with a blank slate, or point Zenspire to your own existing folder of well-organized images. The choice is yours.
Direct Folder Management:
Create, rename, and move folders intuitively within Zenspire. These actions directly manage standard folders on your disk within your library location, containing your actual image files, always accessible via Finder, no proprietary formats.
See Everything at Once:
Optionally view all images within a folder and all its subfolders combined in a single, unified grid. Perfect for browsing deep hierarchies without endless clicking. Instantly view every image in your entire library with the "All Images" view.
Flexible Collections:
Organize related images from different folders into virtual collections. Perfect for specific projects, gathering inspiration, creating mood boards, or curating themed reference sets without duplicating files.
Favorites & Pins:
Mark your best images as Favorites for easy access. Use Pins to temporarily set aside images you want to review or sort later.
Seamless Drag & Drop:
• Drag images from Finder, websites, or other apps directly into a folder to import them.
• Copy images from anywhere and paste them directly into a folder.
• Drag selected images out of Zenspire into Finder or other apps.
• Drag images into Collections to quickly organize them for a project or to move them to another folder.
Intuitive Image Grid:
Browse your images in a beautiful, responsive grid. Adjust thumbnail size and switch between preserving original aspect ratios or a uniform square layout. Navigate your library with mouse or keyboard, and press the Spacebar on any image for an instant QuickLook preview, just like you would in Finder.
Quick Actions:
Favorite or Pin images directly from their thumbnails with a single click on hover.
Workflow Tools:
• Always on Top: Keep the Zenspire window floating above all others for easy access while you work.
• Flexible Sidebar: Customize the sidebar by showing image counts or to include your library's root folder.
Context Aware Menus:
