Private Dispatch is a macOS app for creating and sending newsletters using your own SMTP server, without subscriptions and without third-party platforms. All your data stays on your Mac.
No tracking pixels. No open or click tracking. No user profiling.
Private Dispatch is designed for people who want to communicate by email without turning recipients into metrics.
Your contacts, drafts, templates and logs are stored locally using a SQLite database. Passwords and SMTP credentials are securely stored in the macOS Keychain. No account is required and nothing is sent to external services.
You can manage your contacts in a simple and clear way. Add, edit or remove contacts, organize them using colored tags, import and export CSV files, and filter contacts based on status or selection.
The newsletter editor is flexible and straightforward. You can write visually using a block-based editor with text, images, buttons, dividers and spacing, or work with predefined HTML templates. More than fifteen templates are included, ranging from minimal layouts to darker and more expressive designs. A live preview is always available while you write.
Private Dispatch supports custom variables to personalize your emails, such as {{name}}, {{email}}, and fallback values, making each message feel direct and human without relying on tracking.
Emails are sent using your own SMTP provider. Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Fastmail and custom servers are supported. You can test the SMTP connection, send emails with visible progress, and review a complete log of all deliveries.
An integrated Email Extractor allows you to recover email addresses from your own files, entirely offline. It can extract emails from plain text, PDF documents, Word and Excel files, HTML pages, JSON, CSV, XML and source code files. The app analyzes the text locally, identifies valid email addresses according to RFC 5322, removes duplicates, and shows a detailed preview before import. Explicit GDPR consent is required before adding extracted addresses to your contacts, and each email can be reviewed individually.
Private Dispatch also includes draft management, attachments, detailed send logs, reports and statistics. The interface is fully localized in English and Italian.
Private Dispatch is not an email marketing platform. It is a local tool for people who want to send newsletters in a transparent, respectful and controlled way.
