Tired of scrolling YouTube Shorts? This helps you block Shorts as if it never existed.
Features:
- Remove Shorts from Homepage: Keep your homepage free from Shorts distractions.
- Disable Shorts Recommendations: Prevent Shorts from being suggested alongside other videos.
- Block Shorts Playback: Automatically redirect attempts to play Shorts back to the homepage.
How to Set It Up:
1. Install Shortstop from the Mac App Store.
2. Open the Shortstop app.
3. In Safari, open Safari > Settings (or Preferences) and select Extensions. Check the Shortstop extension to enable it.
4. Open Youtube.com and press the Shortstop icon next to the search bar.
5 Enable Shortstop and grant permission for it to access youtube.com.
5. Enjoy a Shorts-free experience!
When prompted about web activity, you’ll be asked how long you want to grant permission and which sites the extension can access. Shortstop only requires access to YouTube to function properly, and your data is never collected or stored.
