This app does not work when your MacBook is shut down or in sleep mode.
To ensure proper functionality, please follow the steps below to prevent your MacBook from entering sleep mode when the display is off and the power adapter is connected:
1. Click the Apple menu (Apple logo icon).
2. Select "System Settings..."
3. Click "Battery"
4. Click the "Options..." button at the bottom right.
5. Enable "Prevent automatic sleeping on power adapter when the display is off."
6. Click Done.
