GluScout is a clean, privacy-focused macOS application that displays real-time glucose readings from your Nightscout server directly in your menu bar. Designed for people with diabetes and their caregivers, GluScout keeps your glucose data accessible without interrupting your workflow.
Key Features:
• Real-time monitoring: Connect to your existing Nightscout server to display live glucose readings and trend arrows right in your menu bar.
• Multiple units support: Switch between mg/dL and mmol/L based on your preference. Values convert automatically while maintaining accuracy.
• Privacy first: All data stays on your Mac. No cloud storage, no data collection, no tracking. Your health information remains completely private.
• Customizable display: Choose your preferred refresh intervals (30 seconds to 5 minutes) and appearance modes (light, dark, or system).
• Menu bar integration: Discreet monitoring that doesn’t interrupt your work. Quickly glance at glucose levels and trends without opening additional apps.
• Bilingual support: Full localization in English and Polish, with proper accessibility support.
Requirements:
• macOS 14.6 or later
• An existing Nightscout server setup
• Internet connection for data synchronization
