With its many game modes, pattern styling, rendering techniques and 3D background studios, SegPlayFull offers a wide assortment of activities to engage artists of all skill levels.
SegPlayFull is a feature rich, original, and innovative, painting program that allows users to fully digitally paint segmented artwork. Segmented implies that artwork is pre-processed into colored pieces.
The program provides users with a combination of painting modes allowing them to perform Paint by Numbers, Puzzle by Numbers, and creative color selection to complete patterns as they choose.
SegPlayFull gives the user a near infinite zoom-able 2D canvas to complete the patterns, but also shows the canvas positioned in one of several 3D studios allowing for a far greater sense of realism and fun factor.
Segmation provides pre-processed, high quality, curated patterns in a growing collection of themed sets which you complete by several methods. An initial set of vibrant patterns created from artistic photographs and illustrations is provided with the program at install.
The program has highly optimized code built from the ground up using Unity3D, a robust and proven graphics engine. The algorithms used in the program utilize advanced graphics, realistic material visualization, image processing, non-photorealistic rendering, and color science.
SegPlayFull allows the user to “paint” with a wide selection of real world materials. These materials support the rendering of wood, plastic, marble, stain glass, foil, glitter, fabric, plaster, and many other objects. Combined with user controlled lighting configurations, surface treatments, and color blending, the user has full control in how these materials appear which applied to the pattern.
SegPlayFull has a well thought out modern interface with docked panels for consistent access to palette, style, and mini-map functionality, heads up progress display, animated effects, and built in help. Using a wheeled mouse and keyboard, the user can easily navigate through the program and nearly infinitely zoom in to all areas of the pattern. Suitable audio sound effects and relaxing background tracks enhance the painting experience.
SegPlayFull is intended to be a more modern program to replace our popular 10+ year SegPlayPC product. It’s also a fully featured product to excite and migrate our SegPlay Mobile/SegPlay Paint by Numbers users to.
SegPlayFull patterns are created using advanced proprietary image processing technology developed by Segmation during the past 20 years. These vector based patterns are highly detailed and when colored with a limited optimized color palette, result in near photorealistic true-to-life results.
