Descrizione
The application detects connected storage devices, identifies their logical and physical sector sizes, and clearly distinguishes supported 520-byte drives from ordinary disks. When a compatible drive is selected, the Reader creates a temporary 512-byte iSCSI view. Windows can then access the disk through a normal drive letter and standard file-system tools while the original 520-byte sector layout remains intact.
The translation layer removes the additional eight bytes from each 520-byte sector when reading. During writing, it stores the 512 bytes supplied by Windows and fills the remaining eight bytes with zeroes. This allows files and folders to be opened, copied, edited, and saved through Windows Explorer and other standard applications.
The application is designed for diagnostics, data recovery workflows, compatibility testing, and controlled access to storage media that Windows cannot use directly because of its 520-byte sector format.

- Runs as a self-contained Windows application.
The Reader does not convert the original disk permanently. It provides a controlled compatibility view so that 520-byte media can be inspected and used through the standard 512-byte Windows storage interface.
