Descrizione

AI Recoder drafts documentation comments with a small local AI model. It parses source without executing your program. Compare the original and proposed copy, review each explanation, then explicitly save a separate _AI file.

The 0.5B model runs on CPU. Initial setup downloads approximately 510 MB from Hugging Face and GitHub and requires Internet. Later generation uses local components, without an account, API key or cloud inference. The model can hallucinate or misunderstand code: independently verify each result before relying on it.

Supported programming languages: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, C++, T-SQL, PHP, Go, Rust, Windows PowerShell 5.1 and Linux Bash. These are 12 programming languages. Interface and help: English, French, Italian, German and Spanish; English initially. Windows x64; 4 GB free RAM recommended. CPU speed affects generation time.

Limits: 2 MB per file, 7,000 characters and 24 parameters per function/code unit. Related context is limited, not a complete project. Parsing is not compilation or type checking. Unsupported syntax is refused. Assembly and PowerShell 7-only syntax are not supported; other SQL dialects are not promised.

Saving checks the original and atomically creates a separate copy. Existing _AI files are refused. Syntax and executable-token checks protect code; line numbers and source self-inspection can still observe added comments. Keep your backups.
