Description

API Studio is a workspace for building, sending and testing HTTP requests. Pick a method, type a URL, add query parameters, headers, a JSON, XML, text or form body, and a bearer token, basic auth or an API key, then send it. The response comes back with its status, time and size, a syntax-highlighted body, its headers and its cookies.

Work on several requests at once, each in its own tab with its own response. Parameters stay in sync with the URL both ways, and any row can be switched off without deleting it. Show the response beside the request or below it, and drag the splitter to give either side more room.

Save requests in collections and organize them in folders. Every request you send is kept in the history, newest first, with its status and timing; search it by URL, name, method or status and open any entry again in one click.

Use environments to switch between production, staging and your local server without rewriting a thing. Write a variable in double curly braces in the URL, parameters, headers, body or auth, and it's filled in from the active environment. The URL bar shows what a templated address resolves to before you send it.

Paste a cURL command, including one copied from your browser's developer tools, and it opens as a request. Turn any request into ready-to-run code for cURL, PowerShell, JavaScript, Python or C#. Import and export collections and environments in the common JSON formats, so moving your work in or out takes seconds.

Open tabs are remembered between sessions, unsaved changes included. Light and dark themes, the response layout, the request timeout, redirects, certificate checks for a local development server and a choice of interface languages are all in Settings.
