Codeloud is a Windows dictation app that connects directly to the AI providers you choose. Bring your own API keys, select a speech model, and start talking. Keep the original transcript or use an optional writing model to clean up punctuation and formatting.

Simple mode keeps everyday dictation easy. Advanced mode adds personal vocabulary, writing profiles, audio-file transcription, and project context for developers. Find filenames mentioned in your dictation, review selected source files, and compose a prompt with the context you need.

See your words per minute, processing times, and available token and cost information. Review, edit, copy, and export transcripts from local history.

Codeloud is an early-access Windows app. An account and API credentials for a supported provider are required for cloud transcription. Providers may charge separately. Audio and text are sent to the providers you select; provider privacy and retention policies apply.

• A quieter space design adds an audio ribbon that responds to your microphone, with clearer Settings and History.
• Long code terms, filenames and transcripts are easier to read on narrow screens.
• Available transcripts stay recoverable after a restart, including when history is off, until you delete or clear them.
• Copy the last transcript from the small recording bubble or tray without reopening Studio or transcribing again.
• Improved destination tracking for the recording bubble, with recovery when automatic paste cannot be confirmed.
• More accurate dictation statistics and clearer microphone setup errors.
