Description

New Codex Model Bridge is an independent local compatibility component for compatible Codex development workflows. It includes a small control panel for local configuration and diagnostics, plus a packaged full-trust stdio bridge launched by the compatible host through an execution alias. The bridge routes configured model requests to the selected provider. Native OpenAI/Codex traffic depends on the compatible host and the official stock backend already installed on the machine; this package is not an OpenAI product and is not endorsed by OpenAI. It is intended for local development, does not provide a hosted service, and requires users to configure and authorize external providers themselves. See the linked privacy policy for data handling.
