Beschreibung

Own your Codex.

Codex Pass lets Codex in the ChatGPT desktop app work with your own AI gateway and custom models, while your ChatGPT account keeps its voice, Live and image generation. Which account and model to use, what it costs, and why something broke are yours to see and decide.

Connect: Use your ChatGPT account and your own AI gateway or models together. Voice, Live and image generation stay. The models you add come from your AI gateway or API key; a custom API key does not unlock ChatGPT account features. Codex Pass works with AI gateways that use the Responses, Chat Completions or Claude Messages format, and switches format when a gateway rejects one.

Fix: Bad upstream responses, config broken by another tool, sessions filling the disk. Codex Doctor names the cause and cleans it up. Turn Codex Pass off at any time and Codex returns to its previous settings.

Your team's Codex, owned together (team edition, invite-only beta): One code to join, usage per person, and project knowledge that stays with the company. An admin puts the key, the allowed models and the quota into one connection code, and members paste it once to finish setup. Shared conversations, remote access, team memory and project handover are in the same app. The team edition is the same app signed in to a team account.

The interface is available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese.

Requirements: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (x64), Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime, an internet connection, and the ChatGPT desktop app for Windows with Codex, installed separately. Realtime voice on Windows requires a voice attestation exported from Codex Pass on a Mac signed in to the same ChatGPT account.

The app is free to download. Your ChatGPT subscription, AI gateway, API usage and optional hosted services are separate and may require an account or payment. Codex Pass does not include AI credits, a ChatGPT subscription or an AI model.
