Beskrivelse

dbSlice moves data between different database engines while the source system stays in use.

Pick a source and a target, map the columns if the tables differ, and dbSlice copies or synchronizes the rows. It reads the source in pages, with no long-running cursor and no table lock, and it only needs read access on the source and write access on the target.

SUPPORTED DATABASES
SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Firebird, SQLite, InterSystems IRIS and InterSystems Caché — on premises or in the cloud. One app and one license cover all of them.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Synchronize or migrate a table, a view or the result of a SELECT
• Choose the sync mode: initial load, new rows only, insert and update (upsert), update only or full reload
• Work across different schemas, with column mapping
• Compare the structure of two tables and check which rows are missing on the target
• Export to CSV, JSON, XML, TXT, Markdown and SQL scripts
• Send data from a database, a JSON file or a CSV to a REST API, a SOAP web service, Kafka, Redpanda, Pulsar or RabbitMQ, with field mapping, transforms and preview
• Mask column values when copying to test and staging environments
• Generate synthetic data for test tables
• Generate entities, DTOs and models from a table
• Save jobs and run them from the command line, on a schedule or in CI
• Get an e-mail report or a webhook call when a job finishes

Developers, DBAs, DevOps engineers and anyone who has to move data between systems: loading a CRM or BI database, refreshing a test environment from production, keeping a legacy system in step with its replacement, feeding an API or a message broker, or handing a data set to a partner.

Without a license you can connect to your databases, browse data, compare structures, export to CSV, and build and preview a Send Data job. Synchronization, migration, sending data and the other export formats require a license, which is perpetual and is bought at dbslice.net.
