Description

DevChrono Agent is the Windows companion for DevChrono. It records your meetings, both what others say and what you say, and sends them to your DevChrono workspace, where they become a searchable transcript, a clear summary and action items you can track.

It works with any meeting app: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Slack huddles, or a call in your browser. There are no bots joining your calls and no meeting links to share. Click Start when the meeting begins and Stop when it ends.

How it works
1. Connect the agent to your DevChrono account with a one-time pairing code from Settings > Recorder.
2. Choose what to record: the meeting and your microphone, the meeting only, or your microphone only.
3. Start recording. Audio is transcribed in short segments while the meeting is still going, so your notes are ready soon after you stop.
4. When it's done, the meeting opens in DevChrono with the transcript, summary and action items.

Built to be dependable
- Keeps recording if you unplug a headset or switch your default audio device.
- If a meeting can't be saved because you're offline or something fails, you can try again later. Nothing is lost.
- Asks before closing while you're recording.
- Test audio with live level meters before an important call.
- Can record just one app (for example only Teams) when your speaker audio is silent.

Private by design
- Your device token is stored in Windows Credential Manager, not in plain files.
- Temporary audio is deleted from your PC after the meeting is saved.
- Silent stretches are skipped and never uploaded.
- You can disconnect a device at any time from your DevChrono settings.

A DevChrono account is required. Transcription minutes depend on your DevChrono plan.
