Description
Export directory metadata to JSON, CSV, or TSV for reporting. Create Mermaid or Graphviz DOT diagram source, or a self-contained HTML tree you can open locally. Optional SHA-256 hashes help document file contents.
After installation, open PowerShell, Command Prompt, or Windows Terminal and type etree --examples. eTree runs in your terminal. Its Start menu entry opens a console with getting-started instructions. Use etree . -l 2 for a two-level view of your current directory.
Directory processing happens locally. eTree has no account, advertising, or analytics service. Its home-directory redaction option can help prepare reports for sharing, but filenames may still contain personal information.
Mermaid and Graphviz DOT rendering requires a compatible viewer. eTree creates the diagram source; its HTML reports open directly in your browser.
