Description

New FastWrite is a lightweight AI writing tool for Windows. Open any Markdown file, and it renders as a polished, readable document — correct headings, proper fonts, clean spacing. No raw symbols, no configuration, no learning curve.

WRITE WITH AI: Open the AI panel and describe what you need. "Draft a two-paragraph proposal for a kitchen renovation." "Rewrite this paragraph more formally." "Add a section about pricing." The AI drafts directly into your document at the cursor. Use any of seven major AI providers with your own API keys — Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, Groq, Fireworks, Together AI, DeepInfra, or OpenRouter. Pay provider rates directly; FastWrite never marks up your AI usage.

AUTO-CORRECT BROKEN MARKDOWN Files from other tools, AI exports, and converted documents often have formatting errors — heading symbols that didn't convert, bold markers still showing as asterisks, broken list syntax. FastWrite detects these automatically and uses AI to normalize the document before you even see it. What arrives looks right.

WHAT IT IS: FastWrite is above a text editor and below a full word processor. It is the tool you reach for when you need to produce a clean document fast — a letter, a proposal, a report, a set of notes — and get it out the door in three minutes.

WHAT IT IS NOT: FastWrite is not Microsoft Word. It does not have mail merge, track changes, pagination control, or footnotes. It does not support complex layouts for publication. It is a scalpel, not a Swiss Army knife.

REQUIREMENTS: Windows 10 build 17763 or later. Internet connection for AI provider API calls. Your own API key from at least one supported provider. Several providers offer free tiers — Groq in particular lets you use FastWrite at no API cost.
