Beschreibung

flashSEC helps you investigate files, understand important security signals on your Windows PC, preserve incident evidence, and use trusted administrative tools with visible owner control.

Start with three focused workflows instead of searching through a long tool list:

- **Investigate a File** calculates a SHA-256 hash, reads local metadata, checks Authenticode state, and can start Microsoft Defender when you choose. Export a report or confirm quarantine as separate actions. The selected file is not uploaded by this workflow.
- **Inspect This Computer** reviews available evidence for Microsoft Defender, Windows Firewall, Windows Update, storage, startup entries, listening ports, and the flashSEC workspace. Coverage and unavailable checks are shown clearly. The score is guidance, not a guarantee that a device is safe.
- **Handle an Incident** collects only the notes, files, screenshots, audio, and local activity you explicitly add. Export a ZIP evidence package with a manifest and SHA-256 hashes. Nothing is captured or sent automatically.

Trust Centre explains what flashSEC can access, where its local data is stored, which tools depend on a network request, and how to export diagnostics or remove local records. Optional private feature counters are off by default and never contain commands, paths, filenames, or results.

Live Terminal provides real local PowerShell, Command Prompt, WSL, and detected Kali WSL sessions with tabs, split view, find, copy, and paste. It runs with your Windows account permissions, does not silently elevate, and does not create an automatic transcript. A separate searchable catalog provides curated local diagnostics with clear descriptions.

Additional local tools include an authenticated encrypted vault, verified recovery, reviewed quarantine, visible evidence recording with integrity hashes, removable-drive guidance, image metadata and GPS inspection, owner-approved coordinate attachment to a new image copy, and approximate public IP/domain information.

flashSEC is designed for computers, files, drives, images, domains, and networks you own, manage, or are authorized to inspect. It does not identify a person's exact location from an IP address or infer an exact photo location from image pixels. It is not a replacement for maintained antivirus protection, independent backups, or professional incident response.
