Description

FTP Commander moves files between your PC and your servers. Your computer is on the left, the server on the right: browse both, then drag files across, double-click them, or drop them in straight from File Explorer. Whole folders go with everything in them.

It speaks SFTP (with a password or a private key), FTP secured with TLS, and plain FTP for the networks you trust. The first time you connect to an SFTP server, its key is shown so you can confirm it, and you're warned if it ever changes. Certificates Windows can't verify are shown to you before anything is sent.

Transfers run in the background, several at a time, each on its own connection, so you can keep browsing while files move. Watch the progress and speed of every file, pause the queue, retry what failed, or cancel what you don't need. When a file is already there, choose to overwrite it, overwrite only if yours is newer, resume a partial file, keep both, or skip, and apply the choice to the rest of the transfer. Interrupted transfers pick up where they stopped.

Save the servers you use in the site manager, with their folders, logon type and notes. Passwords are kept in Windows Credential Manager, never in a file. Open several servers at once in tabs, and read each connection's log when you need to see what the server said.

Both sides work like a file manager: sort by name, size, date or permissions, filter the list, create folders, rename, delete, change permissions on the server, and copy paths. Light and dark themes and a choice of interface languages are in Settings.
