Kuvaus

FtpCopy
Uutta  FtpCopy is a Windows desktop tool that copies files between two SFTP/FTP servers in a familiar dual-pane layout. It compares directories on both sides, classifies every file (new / source-newer / identical / destination-newer), and lets you pick exactly which categories to copy. Special files that protocols can't transfer — symbolic links, sockets, named pipes, devices — are detected and skipped cleanly instead of failing mid-batch.

Built for developers and operators who routinely move project trees, deploy artifacts, or sync directories across Linux/Unix servers.

Key features:
• Dual-pane layout — Left = Source, Right = Target. Connect each pane to any saved server independently.
• Both protocols — SFTP (SSH.NET) and FTP (FluentFTP) in the same UI. Password or SSH-key auth for SFTP.
• Category-aware copy preview — Before copying, see counts and totals per category: New, Source newer, Identical, Destination newer. Tick exactly what you want.
• "Always overwrite" mode — Skip the preview when you want to mirror the source unconditionally.
• Resilient batch copy — A single failure doesn't abort the whole run. Failures are recorded and the batch continues; a result dialog shows what failed and a "Solutions" tab explains why and how to fix each common cause.
• Auto-skip special files — Symbolic links, Unix sockets, FIFOs, and device files are detected at scan time and excluded from the plan.
• Connection-aware folder ops — Create folder and recursive delete on either side from the same window.
• Saved sessions manager — PuTTY-style window listing all servers; Connect / Add / Edit / Delete / Close, plus a Source/Target radio.
• Bilingual UI — Korean/English toggle, switches every label and dialog instantly.
• Local copy log — Every run writes a timestamped log to %APPDATA%\FtpCopy\logs\ for audit.

System requirements:
• Operating system: Windows 10 (build 1809 or later) or Windows 11
• Architecture: x64
• .NET runtime: None required (self-contained build)
• Disk space: ~50 MB
