Gnomon is an architecture workbench. Draw C4, UML, ArchiMate, AWS and Azure diagrams in PlantUML, and Gnomon reads what you drew: it builds a STRIDE threat register from your C4 diagram, analyses agentic architectures, and renders everything offline on your own machine.

THREAT MODELS FROM YOUR C4
Trust boundaries and data flows are exactly what STRIDE needs, and you already drew them. Gnomon turns the architecture into a threat register, with severities and CWE references, instead of a blank page and a workshop.

A NOTATION FOR AGENT SYSTEMS
Design agent systems in a notation built for them: thirteen element kinds, eleven ways a run can end, and analyses that show which exits you never modelled and which requirements nothing actually enforces.

NOTHING LEAVES THE MACHINE
Rendering and analysis run locally with a bundled engine and runtime. No account, no upload, no telemetry by default.

A SERIOUS EDITOR UNDERNEATH
• 109 templates: C4, UML, ArchiMate, AWS, Azure, integration patterns, threat models and agentic architecture, plus ADRs, RFCs and post-mortems in Markdown
• Live preview that keeps up with typing
• D3 for what PlantUML can't draw: sankey flows, treemaps, force graphs, calendar heatmaps
• Export to PNG, SVG and PDF
• Boards and a planning canvas alongside your diagrams

AI FEATURES ARE OPTIONAL
Gnomon's AI features work with Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI, which are separate tools from Anthropic, OpenAI and Google. Gnomon does not bundle, install or require them, and it does not sign you up to anything.
Everything Gnomon is sold for works without them: the editor, 109 diagram templates, offline rendering, the agentic analysis panel, the threat register and every export format. If none of these tools is installed, the AI surfaces are not offered, and nothing else changes.

Gnomon is free to try for 30 days, with no card and no account. Continued use requires a subscription purchased from gnomonapp.com, outside the Microsoft Store.

REQUIREMENTS
Windows 10 version 1809 or later (x64). Requires the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime, which is included with Windows 11 and installed automatically by Windows Update on Windows 10.
