Beskrivelse
Most APIs require a login before they return any data, and most tools have no built-in way to handle that. HalAxe runs on your Windows desktop and sits between your tools and the API. You set up an environment once, and HalAxe gives you a local proxy address that behaves like an open, unauthenticated endpoint. Any desktop tool that can make HTTP requests points at that address, and HalAxe signs in, injects the token, and forwards the request for you. Refreshing tokens happens automatically in the background.
Desktop only. HalAxe is a local application. The proxy it creates lives on your own computer (localhost), so it works with tools and AI assistants running on the same Windows PC. It is not a cloud or web service, and it does not expose anything to the internet.
This runs quietly in your Windows system tray. Its screen opens in your default web browser, so there is no extra window to manage. Open it from the tray icon whenever you need it, and it keeps working in the background even when the tab is closed.
Everything stays on your machine. There is no HalAxe account and no HalAxe server. Your credentials and tokens are stored encrypted on your PC and are never sent to us.
HalAxe also includes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Connect a desktop AI assistant running on the same PC and it can call your APIs, explore their schemas, run saved queries, and send email, all without ever seeing your credentials.
HalAxe reads from APIs. It supports GET and QUERY requests only. It does not POST, PUT, PATCH, or DELETE.
Free and Premium
Free includes everything you need for day-to-day use: unlimited local proxies with automatic token handling, all login methods, placeholders and extra fields, the environment token, internal HTTPS, email sending, the AI assistant (MCP), and encrypted export of your environments.
The Free version is valid for one year and is free to renew, so you can keep using HalAxe at no cost.
Premium unlocks the two features not included in Free: Import (restore environments from an encrypted backup) and Deployment Targets (ready-made connection profiles). Start with Premium free for one year, then keep it for life with a one-time purchase. No subscriptions.
Requires Windows 10 or Windows 11, and a web browser for the HalAxe screen. The tools and AI assistants you connect must run on the same PC, since the proxy is local.
