Description

Kitbar
Kitbar keeps your developer tools on the edge of your screen. Each tool sits in a ring: green when all is well, turning while something builds, red when something failed. Point at a tool and its card opens beside it with the latest deployments, commits, payments or limits.

Eight tools, one strip, no tabs to keep open:

- Vercel and Cloudflare: the latest deployments, Pages and Workers included, with the branch and the commit. A failed build shows its error and the end of its log; one click redeploys.
- GitHub and GitLab: the newest commits of your repositories with the state of their checks, workflows and pipelines. Re-run what failed from the card.
- Stripe and Polar: the latest payments, from every account you connect. A new payment opens its card for a moment; a failed or disputed one turns the ring red.
- Claude and Codex: your 5-hour and weekly limits as Claude Code and Codex report them, with the time to the reset. With an admin key, what your organization spent on the API.

Connecting is quick. If a tool's command-line tool is already signed in on your PC (gh, glab, Vercel CLI, wrangler, Stripe CLI), Kitbar offers to use it. Otherwise sign in in your browser, or paste a read-only key. Several accounts per tool are fine.

It stays out of the way: right or left edge, any display, never in the taskbar, never takes focus from what you type in. Tuck it away to a thin line and bring it back with Alt+Shift+Space. It steps aside for full-screen apps.

No server in between. Kitbar asks each service directly, the way its own dashboard does. Keys are kept in Windows Credential Manager and go only to the service they belong to. Kitbar never reads your Claude or Codex sign-in: those tools report their own limits. No account with us, and no tracking in the app.

Kitbar needs a license: a one-time purchase at https://kitbar.io, one license for every PC and Mac you own, with a 7-day refund. The app is free to download; without a license the strip shows grey rings and points to the license window.
