Beschreibung

Mock Studio is a mock API server you drive from a desktop app. Design HTTP endpoints visually, press Start, and your apps, browsers, emulators and phones on the same Wi-Fi get realistic mock responses. It suits beginners, who can build a working mock API from templates in a minute, and experts who need precise control over rules, sequences, latency, faults, templating and proxying.

Each endpoint has a method, a path template (/users/:id, /files/*), a status, headers and a JSON, text, HTML or XML body. Choose how it responds: always the same, by conditional rules on the query, headers, path parameters, body or method, as a round-robin sequence for retry testing, or at random with weights to simulate a flaky service.

Templating puts request data and fake values into responses: {{params.id}}, {{query.page}}, {{body.email}}, {{uuid}}, {{now}}, {{faker.name}} and more. Add fixed or jittered latency, dropped connections, empty or malformed bodies, or a hang for timeout testing.

Test endpoints from the built-in test bar, copy a ready-made curl command, and watch every incoming request live with headers, body, matched endpoint and timing. Flows chain endpoints into a user journey, pass values from one response to the next, and run it with many virtual users while showing requests per second, error rate and p50/p95/p99 latency.

Share your mock on this PC, on your LAN with a QR code for phones, or on the internet through a cloudflared or ngrok tunnel (installed separately). Forward unmatched requests to a real API and turn the recorded responses into mocks. Import Postman collections and OpenAPI/Swagger specs (JSON or YAML). Run several projects on different ports at once.
