Beschreibung
Point it at the wired link and it listens for the discovery protocols that vendors already broadcast. Point it at Wi-Fi or a routed subnet and it sweeps the range you choose. Either way you get one dense, readable table: address, vendor, model, name, firmware, MAC address and uptime, with a colour-coded tally of what was found and a filter across every column.
DISCOVERY
Network Discovery recognises MikroTik, Ubiquiti, TP-Link and Omada, and Mimosa equipment, using the neighbour-discovery protocols those vendors broadcast on the local link, along with mDNS, the Windows neighbour cache, MAC address evidence, web fingerprints and an optional read-only SNMP identity lookup.
The Wi-Fi and LAN page sweeps your adapter's own subnet or a routed range you save, bounded to 4,096 addresses per scope so a scan stays predictable. Values a device does not advertise are reported as "Not advertised" rather than guessed.
FIRMWARE
The firmware page lists every device with an identified vendor and checks the public release feeds where one exists — MikroTik RouterOS, and Ubiquiti airMAX and airFiber. Vendors that publish no open feed say exactly that, instead of showing a version that was never confirmed.
Upgrading is deliberately conservative. Network Discovery verifies an image on your own computer with a SHA-256 checksum, opens the device's own authenticated interface so that you perform the installation there, then re-reads the device afterwards to confirm which version is actually running. It never writes firmware to equipment itself, never asks for device credentials, and never changes a device's configuration.
DIAGNOSTICS
Ping reports every reply individually with its latency, alongside a sent, loss, average and maximum summary. The internet throughput test measures download, upload and latency live, with the meters moving while the test runs rather than jumping at the end.
DETAILS
A single application with no installer, no runtime to extract and no background service. Light and dark themes. Double-click any device to see every address it advertises, and click an address to open that device's web interface in your browser.
Nothing is uploaded. The inventory it discovers stays on your computer, no account is required, and the application contains no advertising or telemetry.
