Before/After previews. Going back to a commit, combining commits or repairing a branch that diverged from its remote all open a preview first: your commit graph as it is and as it is expected to be, with a plain list of what changes. Nothing runs until you confirm, and a private recovery point is saved before anything is rewritten.
Guided conflict resolution. When a merge, rebase, cherry-pick, undo or stash restore stops on a conflict, both versions sit side by side with a short explanation of where each came from. Keep one, keep both, or write the result yourself. A file cannot be saved while conflict markers remain.
Coding Sessions for AI-assisted work. Start a session before you or an agent change code. RepoBeam saves a private restore point and lists every change made since, as it happens. Undo any file back to how it was, bring it back if you change your mind, then keep the rest, commit it under your own name, or undo everything. A session creates no branch and no commits of its own. It is a restore point and a review, not a security sandbox: agents still run with your normal permissions.
Everything else you use daily. A commit graph with branches and tags, merge commits that list what they brought in, staging by file or by hunk, an editor you can open full screen from any diff, readable stashes, branches with ahead and behind counts, tags, remotes, repository tabs, search, image diffs, and light and dark themes.
Your code stays yours. There is no RepoBeam account and no telemetry, and RepoBeam does not upload your repositories. It runs the Git already installed on your computer, with your own SSH keys and credential helpers.
