Beschreibung

Snipcode is a code editor for students learning Python and Java, and for the teachers who set their work.

Write, run and hand in programming assignments, with or without an internet connection.

WORKS OFFLINE
Snipcode opens straight into the editor. No account and no connection are needed to write and run code. When the wifi drops in the middle of a lesson, you keep working.

RUNS ON YOUR COMPUTER
Your code runs with the Python or Java already installed on your computer. It is not uploaded anywhere to run it. A program stuck in an endless loop is stopped for you.

SAME RESULT AS THE CLASSROOM
Assignments are marked on your laptop exactly as they are marked online, so work that passes here passes for your teacher too. Programs that print Latvian letters such as ā, ē and ī behave the same everywhere.

ASSIGNMENTS FROM YOUR TEACHER
Sign in with your snipcode.io account to get the assignments your teacher set. Work you hand in while offline waits on your computer and is sent automatically once you are back online.

A PROPER EDITOR
Syntax highlighting, code completion, syntax errors shown as you type, tabs, a file explorer, a console and a built-in terminal.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Your files stay on your device. Snipcode does not send your code to any AI service and contains no ads. Updates are digitally signed and checked before they install.
