TailPad is a fast, real-time multi-panel log viewer built for developers and sysadmins who live in log files — now with built-in network traffic analysis.

Open several logs side by side, tail them live as new lines stream in, and filter each panel independently with regex grep/grep-v — all without waiting on file locks or juggling multiple Notepad windows. TailPad also connects directly to remote servers over FTP, SFTP, or SSH, so you can tail production logs in real time without leaving your desk. When you need to look below the log layer, TailPad's built-in network analyzer captures live traffic on any interface and visualizes the flow.

Requirements:

Network capture requires Wireshark's command-line component (tshark) to be installed and available on your system. TailPad's log viewing, remote access, and filtering features work independently and don't require any additional installation.
